Meet Our Award Winner

I am a seasoned professional with 30 years in the banking industry as a Comptroller, Auditor,  and Banking Regulator. And now, real estate developer and a Realtor in San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, CA. As an auditor and regulator,  I understand the risks and parameters established by the banks and regulators to ensure residential and commercial real estate loans can be repaid; as well as ensuring banks complied with laws and regulations regarding Fair Lending, Fair Housing, and community reinvestment. I challenged decisions made by banks on loan applications for both residential and commercial real estate loans and have required banks to either substantiate or reverse decisions made to ensure ongoing fair lending practices. As a rehabber, I look for properties that have sat on the market untouched and could use some updating to appeal to homeowners. As a realtor, I continue to learn the various loan products available to prospective homeowners and provide guidance, wisdom and support in their selection of products and services offered by financial institutions for purchasing their largest investment (home or investment property) as well as, finding their dream home.

I am a native Chicagoan, who moved to Los Angeles in 1997, where I met and married my husband Jim. Together we have four adult children and 5 grandchildren. I love to dance, most recently, learning how to ballroom dance (Waltz, Tango, Rhumba, Cha Cha, Foxtrot to Salsa, Bachata, Merengue); as well as line dancing and regular social dancing. I also love to meet new people and to travel.
